Ramadan is approaching! Are you ready?
Welcome to the 2013 Preparing for Ramadan program. The aim this Ramadan is to be prepared in body, mind and soul to embrace Ramadan from the moment it is announced. Insha Allah this year you won't have those initial days of head aches, the mid Ramadan slump and the end of Ramadan regrets because you will enter this Blessed Month prepared physically, mentally and spiritually!
In the first week we look at the importance of drinking water and the five daily prayers, and we also look into the topic of the excuses we make.
This week we discover where sugar is hiding in our diet and just what it is doing to us, start fasting Mondays and Thursday and look into how our emotions effect us and our ability to get closer to Allah.
Week 3 we focus on a balanced diet, in both what we eat and how much we eat. We add night prayers to our voluntary worship of Allah. Our mind project is focusing on having the right mindset.
